How This Project Is Bringing People Together…
When I first started selling plants, I thought it was just about growing and selling seedlings. But it’s turned into something much bigger.
Caroline kindly gives me space at the Canteen every Saturday to have a stall, which has really helped people find out about what I’m doing and David has kindly written an article that will be in the next Nailsworth News.
My neighbours in Watledge have also been amazing — giving me a table, wire shelves, wooden planks for more shelving, and even lending me a greenhouse to help bring on my seedlings.
So many people have supported me in different ways. Some have bought plants, others have offered encouragement or advice, and it’s all helped keep the project going.
This week I was really surprised by Margaret’s kind and generous offer to make a display shelf just for me, and I even get to see the process of it being created.
Someone said to me recently that the stall isn’t just about plants — it’s become a place where people stop, have a chat, drink coffee, eat cake, and connect with each other.
I hadn’t thought of it like that before, but I think they are right.
Thank you all so much!
